A few days before the Taylor Swift concert we went online and were surprised to find tickets available. I always thought her shows sold out in minutes. Ticketmaster had opened up more tickets the week before the show. We made a last minute decision to buy the tickets!
Mia loves Taylor Swift and so does mommy :)
We were in New Jersey on Saturday so it worked out that Jason could drop us off and pick us up. On our way to Jersey we did a run through at the Linc.
In the early afternoon there were already tons of fans waiting.
We got to the Linc around 8 and made our way into the concert.
There were 51,000 people there!
These were our seats. Row 47 was the last row on the floor and we were row 46, seats 1 and 2. It was great to be on the end next to a big aisle where mommy Mia could dance.
Here is Mia getting ready for the show to begin. She barely put her sign down the entire concert and kept saying "I want to give Taylor my sign!" See that white tree in the background? That was right next to our seats.
This was the view from our seats. It was far from the stage but we could still see the show.
But soon this was our view.
And soon after that this was our view! Taylor came to that white tree and sang three songs! We were right up against the rope when she finished singing and left. So close we almost touched her.
Mia was so excited to see her up close and kept asking questions...."What kind of shoes is she wearing? Why does she have a new guitar now? What song is next?"
A sweet girl gave Mia a light up wand that she proudly danced with the rest of the night.
For the second to last song, Taylor wore an Eagles jersey over her ball gown.
"I had the best day with you today..."
We had the best time and look forward to seeng her again in concert!
