The night before Easter the girls and I made some little carrot bags of goldfish. Then we left some carrots for the Easter Bunny... which we saw he enjoyed when we woke up.
The girls were greeted by a sign from the Easter Bunny telling them to follow the tracks to their clues. Following the tradition of when mommy was growing up (and the Easter Bunny still leaves mommy and now daddy a scavneger hunt at GiGi and Bear's house), the girls really got into their scavenger hunt.
Their clues led them outside to a new picnic table and baskets filled with goodies.
We are looking forward to many meals outside this spring/summer.
Then the girls enjoyed an Easter egg hunt and too many fruit snacks and m&m's.
We all got dressed in our Easter best and headed to GiGi and Bear's house where we all did the scavenger hunt that led to more goodies.
Next we went out to lunch with our family and then back to Great Mom-Mom's house for dessert and an egg hunt. The girls liked playing with their cousin Hank.
One last stop to the McConnell's for more family time and another egg hunt.
The girls were not into getting their pictures taken this Easter... this was my favorite picture of the day :)
