Watercolor tree

We found this Masking Tape and Watercolor Tree craft idea online and decided to give it a try.

We took a piece of construction paper and used masking tape to make a tree trunk and branches.  Then Mia got to work with her watercolors painting the tree.

K likes to try and paint but still likes to eat paint and paintbrushes so her painting session did not last long.

Mia liked painting with her watercolors but was more interested in painting with the paint I was using on something else... that is why most of her tree painting is black :)
