On Sunday, October 16th Jason and I ran in the 1st Annual Kyle Pagerly Memorial 5K. On Monday, October 17th we could barely walk. We did however have a fun time. They had a beautiful tribute with a 21 gun salute before the race. It was a really nice fall morning to run and remember. We did better than we thought we would (since our training didn't go as well as we'd hoped), did less walking than we anticipated, survived the hills, and finished in 36:32, our chip time was 35:40 and our average pace per mile was 11:29. We're hoping to cut some time off our next race in November.
