Mia's First Field Trip

Mia and her preschool class took went on their first field trip.  They took a trip to Ontelaunne Orchards and Kayla and I joined them.

This was our first time at this orchard and we enjoyed the views.

The first thing they did was pick and eat raspberries.

Then they walked up to the pumpkin patch.  Kayla loved playing with the rocks.

And watching all the kids.

Mia loved running around the orchard with her friends.

While at the orchard the kids all had a piece of packing tape that was wrapped around their wrist as a bracelet with the sticky side out.  The collected treasures along their walks and stuck them to their bracelet.  When the field trip was over they took the bracelet off, stuck it to construction paper and cut it out to make a bookmark for their new apple orchard workbook.

Then it was time to pick apples.  Mia asked her teachers if Kayla could have a bag too so she could pick some apples and she helped Kayla find the good ones.  She is always looking out for and including her lil sis.

Once they were done picking apples they had a snack and some apple cider.  Kayla wanted to be one of the big kids.

Mia and her buds.

We had a great time on Mia's first field trip!

Mia just loves school, her teachers, and her classmates and her year is off to a great start!!
