One Year Old

Baby's First Birthday!

On Friday, June 3rd you turned one year old!

12 things about you at 12 months...

1 Your favorite things to play with right now are dolls, the play kitchen, the remote control, our cell phones, water bottles, anything that is not a toy, and toys that make noise.

2 You like to empty books and toys out of baskets and crawl in the basket.

3 Your most favorite thing to do right now is wave at people.

4 You now sleep to sounds of the ocean.

5 You eat a combination of baby food and table food and nurse in between meals.  You eat just about anything we give you.
6 Your nicknames: Bean, Beany, Beanster, Kayla Bean, Scooter, Bubba, Baby Kay.

7 You are a little beach baby and love the beach!  You haven't eaten too much sand and love to play in the sand and pool.  You have taken some nice beach naps.
8 You can stand for a while on your own and cruise the furniture.  You haven't taken any steps yet.

9 When you get upset, you bury your head in the carpet.
10 Things you like: playing chase with Mia, tubbies, playing outside, riding your wagon and bikes, dancing, being held and cuddled, climbing the steps, getting into trouble.  Things you don't like: getting out of the tubby, getting your face wiped, getting dressed, and being sleepy.

11 You have 2 teeth and it looks like a bunch are ready to come in.

12 This past year has flown by and you bring so much joy to our days!  We look forward to watching you continue to grow!
