Snowflakes

We woke up to a lot of snow.  Mia was very excited watching it from the window.  We began the morning by putting some marshmallows snowflakes in her milk.

Then she helped me make some banana pancakes sprinkled with more blueberries snowflakes.
Next we made some snowflakes to decorate the kitchen.

We also made some snowflake and sun sticks to help her sing a new song.

One little snowflake with nothing to do.
Along came another and
Then there were two.

Two little snowflakes laughing with me.
Along came another, and
Then there were three.

Three little snowflakes looking for some more.
Along came another, and
Then there were four.

Four little snowflakes dancing a jive.
Along came another, and
Then there were five.

Five little snowflakes having so much fun.
Out came the sun, and
Then there were none!

It was really cold out so we figured out a warmer way to enjoy the snow.

We brought a big bucket of snow inside and got out some towels, kitchen utencils and bowls, play doh accessories, and a bowl of warm water to warm up hands.
No eating the snow Kayla :)
They had fun with the snow and we all stayed warm.
We then made a snowflake snack using tortillas. We sprinkled cinnamon sugar on one and powered sugar with some blue sprinkles on the other.
