Easter 2013

Our silly girls slept in on Easter morning and even wanted to take tubbies before heading downstairs.  Talk about patience!

The first thing Mia spotted was her first clue that the Easter bunny left her.  The first thing Kayla spotted was the pieces of carrots that the bunny left behind.

Mia got right to work on figuring out the clues and finding the next ones.

Kayla wasn't interested in the scavenger hunt.  She just wanted to eat carrots like the bunny.

Lots of clues later led to the girls Easter baskets and gifts that the Easter Bunny left for them.

The Easter Bunny left Mia a new dress up wedding set.  Of course she had to put it on right away and has worn it almost daily since.

When she got the dress on she said to us... "Now I can finally marry my daddy!"  They spent most of the morning dancing together.

After the egg hunt the girls had fun searching for the eggs the Easter Bunny hid.

Then we made bunny pancakes.  We made banana, blueberry banana and banana chocolate chip pancakes and added bananas, blueberries, strawberries, mini chocolate chips and marshmallows to turn them into bunnies.

We all got ready for lunch and met our family. After lunch we headed to Great Mom-Mom's for dessert and an egg hunt.  After that we went over to Cindy and Denny's house for some more family fun, games and another egg hunt for the kids.

These girls love egg hunts and love family days.
