fun with felt

I've been seeing these scenes made out of felt and thought I would try to make one.  Lucas''birthday was coming up so I decided to make one for him to play with for his birthday.  I chose the pirate scene since he was having a pirate birthday party.  I bought different colored felt, had a scene in my head and just cut the felt to fit that scene.

Then I took a picture of the scene so he could use it as a guide and put all the pieces in a container.

The next one I am going to try is a "decorate your own cupcake" felt scene for the girls.
