New Playroom Wall Art

I had two small canvases that I knew the girls would love to paint.
I knew I wanted to hang them in the playroom but was looking for an idea for them to paint them.
When I saw This and This I got an idea.
We had all the materials we needed at home for this one.

I took the canvases and some alphabet letters.
With the letters I wrote out the saying.

While I did that, Mia took stickers and placed them along an "M" I had drawn.
Kayla took stickers and placed them all over herself and the house :)

The girls get so excited at the sight of paint.

Mia picked out paint colors and I cut up some sponges for them to paint with.

When they were done painting we dabbed off all the excess paint with the sponges.

Kayla likes to paint and color on everything that isn't paper.

I thought the sponges would be a good way for less messy painting.
I was wrong.
We let the canvases dry and then took the stickers off.

Their finished product.
New playroom wall art!
This was a fun one that I know we'll do again.
