On Mia's birthday we told her she could pick what she wanted to do. First she told us she wanted to go to Rite Aid? Then she thought about it again and told us she wanted to go to Giant. We all got up and got dressed and Mia, Kayla and I did some grocery shopping at Giant. Mia picked out a fancy birthday donut.
We came home and unpacked our groceries and then sung to the birthday girl! We played a little inside and then took naps. Mia wanted me to take a nap with her. She told me "Mommy, you did say I could pick what we do today and I am picking for you to take a nap with me." I took a little nap with her and then let her nap the rest by yourself.
Mia...When you woke up you put on your cupcake princess dress and told us your plans for the night. You wanted to go to Chick-Fil-A for dinner and then to Target and then try out a new cupcake shop. We made it to the first two places but the cupcake shop was closed by the time we got there so we told you we would save that for another day...you suggested we go there for Kayla's birthday. At Chick-Fil-A you enjoyed your favorite meal and then played with Kayla in the funland. At Target you got to spend one of your gift cards and you even made sure to save some money on it to pick out something for Kayla.

Happy 4th Birthday! My oldest will be 4 in August as well. You never really believe people when they tell you how fast the time goes by until you go through it yourself. =)
