Our days at home can get very chaotic. A lot of the activities I plan with the kids either don't work out as planned or only last a few minutes. Yesteday I attempted a tea party which sounded like a fun idea but ended with two sisters in tears and a broken crown. Crafts though are something we all like to do together and they keep them engaged and busy for a while....Mia busy at the actual craft and Kayla busy in her booster seat making a mess :)
Before this craft, we read. Mia got this book before she was born from one of my students. A cute story about a teacher and her garden of students.
The girls helped me look up the directions for our flower craft. Idea HERE
Mia liked the thumb stamping... Kayla decided she'd rather thumb stamp her face instead of the paper so this craft was a short one for her.
The finished product. We made and framed these as Easter gifts for the grandparents.
After we were finished, we shared this for a snack. Then it was nap time :)
