My parents were getting rid of this blue bookshelf and when I saw it I knew just where it could go. I used one coat of the green paint from the nursery and then sanded the edges. Some blue shows through when sanded which looks great since two of the walls in Mia's room are painted blue. Mia helped me put some of her books in the bookshelf and she loves that she can see them all and pick them out to read. We had been keeping her books in some of the cabinets in her furniture and a basket while I was looking for a bookshelf for her. This was just what she needed... just the right size, it freed up some space and is more functional for picking books to read. Happy reading Mia :)
