Pumpkin Day

Before Mia goes to bed at night I tell her what we have planned for the next day and almost every morning she remembers. She woke today and said..."Pumpkin Day Mommy?"

We started by reading this book.

Then, we put food coloring in our yogurt to make it "pumpkin yogurt" and added a green apple slice for the pumpkin stem.

We got started on painting our pumpkins and daddy helped when he came home. Daddy didn't carve a pumpkin yet but he did clean 6 of them to make his PupPup's famous pumpkin seeds.

I am not a good carver of pumpkins so I thought I would paint mine too. I made a polkadot-tulle pumpkin.

For the indecisive pumpkin carver...I couldn't decide what to do with the other pumpkin so I sprayed it with my chalkboard paint and used chalk to draw this cat. Then I can wipe it off and make it into something else.
