My Little Lady

Monday's are usually our lazy stay at home and relax days. We usually get the house straightened up, unpack from our weekend adventures, do laundry, and get ready for the week ahead. Mia likes to help with the chores while Kayla supervises but Mondays can get a little boring so this past Monday we decided to spice it up and make it a lazy ladybug Monday. Mia calls ladybugs "ladybuggies".

We started by dressing Mia in her ladybug shorts and then we got out our ladybug books and read about ladybugs.


Mia enjoyed a special ladybug snack made by some of her favorite snacks and desserts...an apple, peanut butter, raisins, pretzels, a marshmallow and mini chocolate chips.




Then we made some ladybug crowns...a pink one for Mia and a purple one for Kayla. Kayla was sleeping but Mia still wanted to include her in our craft. :)
