Butterfly, Butterfly, Fly, Fly Away.

The word of the day today at our house was butterfly!
We found a butterfly outfit for Mia and read some books on butterflies.
Together we made a butterfly snack. We got our butterfly snack and craft idea here and as usual improvosed a little to use what we had.
She liked it!
We got Mia's Creativity Container out. This is where we keep her craft supplies.
We got to work making our butterfly. We talked about circles and I showed Mia how to make circles on her butterfly wings. She then beautifully decorated her wings. She picked pink paper for her butterfly body and we added eyes.

Kayla wasn't into craft time today and chose to nap instead.
But then she woke up and we got her dressed in a butterfly outfit and told her all about what we learned about butterflies today while she was asleep.
