We began the day by sleeping in (Thanks Mia!) and then waking to see what goodies the Easter bunny left. We found that he ate most of the carrots we left him and left Mia a clue to find her baskets.
In following a tradition set by my parents the Easter bunny decided he will create a scavenger hunt each Easter to find the Easter goodies. Since Mia is 1 and she cannot yet read the Easter bunny left one clue which we read to Mia. It led her to the porch where she and mommy water the flowers and she found her baskets there. After she opened her baskets she found all the eggs the Easter bunny left.
One of Mia's very favorite parts of this Easter were the jelly beans.
We then dropped Mia off at GiGi and Gramps' house and went to church. We got to see the Darlingtons, Strickers and our sweet god-daughter Evie. She looked so pretty in her Easter best!
We went back to GiGi and Gramps' house and had our scavenger hunt. Mia liked holding the clues. We found our gifts and opened them! Thanks for everything!!
