On Sunday, November 9th Mia was baptized at St. John De La Salle Roman Catholic Church surrounded by her family. Mia wore the dress and bonnet that her mommy wore when she was baptized. One of mommy's grandmother's friends made Tara the bonnet, dress, and blanket nearly 30 years ago. Mia was such a good girl and even fell asleep during the service. After the service a lady came up to us and wanted to offer us some advice she wished someone had told her...she said... "instead of telling your kids to go play...go play with your kids". Afterwards we celebrated with a luncheon at our house. It was a beautiful day. A few days before the baptism we planted a new "Mia" tree and some shrubs... we'll watch them grow as we watch Mia grow.
